This Brown University research study explores addictions counselors' thoughts and opinions about using digital tools (websites, smartphone apps, virtual reality) to help their clients manage their alcohol/drug use. If you decide to join this study, we would ask you to watch a short video (15 minutes) and complete a brief survey (15-20 minutes). If you finish the survey, we’ll send you a $20 gift card after verifying your contact info.

To be eligible, you must (1) have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a clinical area (e.g., social work, psychology, medicine, counseling, nursing, mental health), (2) be licensed/certified to provide counseling or treatment for mental health or addictions (e.g., be licensed/certified as a nurse, social worker, physician, psychologist, mental health counselor) in the United States, and (3) and provide addictions counseling for at least some of your typical work week.
